First we will visit the Sesela area and walk through the inland of local village to the Meninting river to start your exotic journey using the local "gondola" of bamboo raft along the river, where the villagers rely their life : mostly the Sandman ! Next continue to Medang Beach with its unspoilt natural beaches. Lunch will be served at Nirvana Beach Restaurant. On the way back we will visit Banyumulek Village famous for its pottery.

First travel via coastal roads to the unforgettable beauty of Malimbu Beach where you will have chance to take some pictures. Then a short transfer to Gili Trawangan by motorized boat for snorkeling among magnificent coral reefs and hundreds of varieties of tropical fish or just relaxing in this sunny island. Enroute back to your hotel travel on to Pusuk Pass, a green tropical rainforest offering a fantastic view of the deep valley below, here tame monkeys await for some peanuts or fruits.

The tour will take you to visit : Banyumulek, famous for its traditional pottery, Sukarare village; renowned for its traditional hand weaving of brightly patterned songket, ikat and sarong cloth, after that, Sade village - featuring the unique traditional lodge with its buffalo dung floors, Tanjung A'an at Kuta beach - one of the most scenic and un-spoilt beaches in this part of the island. Lunch is served at one of the local restaurant at Kuta area. Also featured in the tour, is a visit to Mayura water palace.

JALAN-JALAN (CITY TOURS)

The tour features : Mayura water palace, built in 1744 and once was part of the impressive Balinese Kingdom, Mandalika; the main market of Lombok and the perfect place to observe the daily activity of the local, Taman Narmada built in 1727 by King Anak Agung Gede Ngurah Karang Asem as the kingly garden as well as the place to worship. Its spring water is believed to grant the eternal youth for the believers. Then, Lingsar temple - famous as the only Hindhu temple in the world, which also happily accept their Moslem brothers to worship together, it was built in 1714 and rebuilt in 1878.

LUMBUNG

The tour will visit : Getap; the village of the blacksmith, producing farming and kitchen utensils, such as hand plough, horse-shoes, knives, etc. Mandalika market - the main traditional trading activity in the island, Sekarbela; the town of the silversmith, and also Mt. Pengsong; one of the most sacred temple which is inhabited by hundreds of monkeys.

THE SANDMAN LEGACY

NIRVANA GILI TOUR
